Yesterday Microsoft announced the availability of the iOS 9 extension for System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager in hybrid mode with Microsoft Intune. Microsoft have picked up speed and deliver the extension only 9 days after iOS 9 was launched.
This comes with a few requirements though, you need to be at System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 with CU1 and have the Intune Connector installed.
This extension adds support for iOS 9 devices. New features include: iOS 9 added to the supported platform list, configuration settings to manage and assess compliance on iOS 9 devices, company resource access on iOS 9 devices and ability to deploy applications to iOS 9 devices.
If you have System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1, the iOS 9 Extension will appear as a new item in your Configuration Manager console in the Extensions for Microsoft Intune node. You will also be able to see other enabled extensions in this location.
If you need help upgrading your Configuration Manager to R2 or SP1 with CU1 or installing the Intune Connctor, please feel free to contact me.
